Every single day at 12:14 I look at the clock. No matter what.
(12/14 is my birthday)
Without fail, every single ****ing day of the year, I look at the clock at 12:14 and see it. It's driving me nuts. Now it wouldn't be so bad if I was looking at the same clocks every day at 12:14, but no, I see the clocks at school, my watch, the one on the computer, the one on the stove, the one in my bedroom...all of which are running +-2 or 3 minutes different, and still I manage to look at the clock at 12:14....

It's really starting to bug me/drive me nuts. Can't we get rid of 12:14 as a time?

PLEEEEEASE?!

Here's an idea - when you hear a clock chime 12, close your eyes for precisely 15 minutes.

I'd explain it, but I cba.
I hate school kids on the bus.

You look at the clock all the time, it's only 12:14 that you notice though.

I have the same with midnight (i think quite a few people do this)

Even if you don't look AT the clock it will catch your eye when it is in this configuration.

Almost every day I look at the clock and it is 4:20... whether AM or PM, doesn't matter... There's no reason for me looking at the clock, it's not like routine... it's just that it happens... a casual glance and it's that time.

I can always guess the time. And everytime, without fail, I'm right, or a minute or so out. It's scary. But fantastic when people ask.

I get a boner when clocks tick round to leet o'clock

have you ever stopped to consider that perhaps all the clocks you look at just need to be wound up cuz they've stopped at 12:14?

so you only look at the time at precisely 12:14? surely there must be some way of using this to your advantage ...money making scheme, impressing hot women with your clock reading abilities etc

you are looking at the clock, you just notice it at the time. Kinda like when you have a bruise on your leg, you think, "why does everything hit my leg NOW?!" when in reality stuff always hits your leg, you just never notice.

I always seem to notice the time 12:34.

I have the same problem with 12:00...! Every time I look at a clock in my house, it says 12:00! And it BLINKS as if to tell me of my impending DOOM!!!!... It's got to have something to do with demonic ritual summonings. :flame: Its got to.

my girlfriend looks at the clock every day at 11:11, i kinda still didn't beleive her till i read this.

Start using dd/mm instead and your problems will be solved.

I look at the clock at 7:50am everyday!

That's because that's the time I set my alarm to wake me up.

I would guess that if you're Republican that thing happens to you with 9:11.

I have the unlucky tendency of waking up just a few minutes before the alarm goes off. Annoying as hell.

Really? I hate being woken by an alarm. The worse way to start your day is getting 'alarmed' out of your sleep by a loud beeping noise.

I always see 3:19. Whether it be in a videogame, at a sporting event, etc. 3/19 is my birthday! D:

Conspiracy FTL!

surfer^rosa: When I don't set my alarm, I will wake up on the exact time I would have set it. I love having an internal clock!

I fell out of bed this morning trying to turn off my alarm. But it wasn't really out of bed... I have a desk right up against the foot of my bed, and my alarm clock is on the side furthest from my desk. It's supposed to make me actually get up and walk over so I don't just turn it off and fall asleep in bed again... but really, I just get up, crawl over my bed, crawl halfway over my desk, reach over my computer, and kind of fumble around trying to find the alarm clock. So I was doing that, but I was too tired and lost balance while I was halfway on the bed and halfway on the desk. The bed railing caught me in the stomach and I think my leg hit a chair or something.

Anyways... I tend to notice the time thing too but not a specific time, just interesting times like right on the hour or the half hour or maybe something like 12:12. It's just random and like someone else said, you notice it more because you think it's strange.

Kind of like words. Once you hear someone use an interesting word or learn the meaning of a word, over the next week or so you just hear it everywhere and you think "Why is everyone suddenly using this word all the time?"... but it's really just that you're more aware of it when it pops up. This happened to me with the word "doppelganger." One person said it and then I just saw it everywhere. :(

I always notice 31:12 on my clock. That's because 31/12 is New Year's Eve, so I am mystically attracted to it.

For the longest time, whenever I walked into my room to go to bed, it would be something:42. I suppose I'm the chosen one.

Once, when I had been listening to The Strokes' "12:51" obsessively all day, I walked into my room to go to bed, and sure enough, it was 2:42.

And everyone seems to have ignored this wonderful post

Everytime I look at my clock it says: "88:88:88"

Advice?

^lol

I've never done anything like what people are saying, but I bet that I will soon enough, now I've read this thread. Thanks a lot, guys.

I have the same thing with 11:11. The other day, I went for a ride to the airport to drop off an uncle who was visiting, spotted 11:11 on the way up. Then on the way down dad had a song on from one of his tapes that I'd always liked, but only just realised it was from an artist I knew. So then I get home, spot 11:11 again that night. Then I go searching for the song, find it, download it and put it on Winamp.

It was exactly 11 minutes and 11 seconds long >.>

Well I was mostly refering to how it was Republicans who blew it to this proportion and that logically it would.. Well you get the point.

i have never spotted a 6:66 and i never hope to

Fack I just looked at 22:22 again. First time I checked the time in like 4 hours.
