I live in this town. I drive by this place every once in awhile.

The weirdest thing is, that its actually kinda far out of the town. That guy must have driven his lawnmower over at least a mile down a main road to get there. And thats assuming he was mowing the law of the next nearest place... a church.

I can't say i've ever seen a drive-thru liquor store. And i'm in the south too.

I thought this was going to be a thread about where we can rant about our local area.

Rats.

Me too.

There's a computer and a comfy bed, and a great place to get food just downstairs.

I've never really traveled far from where I live, but it's pretty horrible out there. There's this thing called the "sun" and it burns.

i like where i live, no earthquakes, floods, fires, hurricanes, tornados or mudlslides. the only thing we hate is snow, ice, and old people

There's a drive-thru bottle-o right next to my block. :(

The worst place I have ever lived: Houston. Spent 18 years there. It's probably the ugliest city I've seen. Every few years you'll get some hurricane/tropical storm that floods everything. In the summer you have to deal with the mosquitoes. Air quality is horrible. I always got really sick at least once or twice a year. Then I moved to Austin for four years, spent a summer in Colorado, been in Pittsburgh for a while now -- haven't gotten sick once. But whenever I go back to Houston for a couple of weeks, I wake up sneezing and feeling miserable. I've decided Houston must be some kind of cesspool of filth and disease.

It's cold and grey. I don't like it.

Drive-Throu Liquour? I dont even think the Russians have those lol

...I personally find it convenient and ****ing awesome.

You can walk into your store like a chump, I'll see you five minutes ahead at the kegger, bro.

the guy on the lawnmower is OK in my book...

would be interesting to see some statistics on drunk driving in those areas that have these sorts of things...

YOU'RE a cesspool of filth and disease!

Just kidding. Hey, at least we got a couple a them there drive-thru likka sto's...

There are at least three drive through liquor stores around here I can think of off the top of my head. Possibly more. I can't say I've seen anyone on a lawnmower in them.

there's a drive thru liquor store in buffalo NY (lol buffalo) ..it's actually what it sounds like; a garage with two doors. you drive in one end (you're literally in a garage with cases of beer stacked everywhere), a guy takes your order, puts it in your trunk and then you drive out the other end

it's not uncommon to see ski-doos lined up outside a beer store in cottage country (northern ontario) ..but no liquor store drive throughs

I like where I live; good community, nice big trees and lots of green spaces everywhere. ..however getting into work is a chore as I live in suburbs and work in the city

with big warm knotholes oozing sticky syruuuuppp fapfapfapfapfap

Whoa, you just reminded me of this place in Austin called "Party Barn." It is exactly like what you said, except painted/designed to look like a barn, and you drive through and buy party supplies. Seriously. Every time I've been past it, all I can think is "wtf party barn." It just boggles my mind. So does that Spirit Halloween store that randomly pops up sometimes. I think in Austin an Old Navy got replaced by a Spirit Halloween. They only make money one month out of the year! How is this possible?
