It's a Tuesday evening. I'm happily surfing the internet then, the little light on my router tells me the internet is down. "Hm...It might come back up in a minute". It didn't. Only until today did I get the internet back.
I realised that getting Bioshock through Steam was pretty much impossible now so I thought that I could get the boxed version and be happily filling in those empty hours which I would usually spend in the HL2.net chat room playing Bioshock.
The game begins installing, "Come on, come on!".
Bioshock Auto-Update
"What the hell?"
Connection Failed
"AWW. GOD ****ING DAMMIT!".
I read the back of the box and to my surprise, "Important Note: Game requires internet connection for activation.". I was pretty disappointed at that point and the box just sat then, right next to my keyboard, mocking me all through Friday.
Ah well, I've got the internet back, and can now play Bioshock.
