i have a problem with my HL2

hey guys, i wondered if u can help me

i try to install HL2 on my pc and it comes with an error message saying that my "hl2.cab file is corrupt and cannot be installed" the number is 1335, i get this all the time, i installed it from steam and i tried to play it but its also saying i dont have certain models, whats the deal with this??

Try to completely delete STEAM off ur machine then re-install STEAM & start from scratch.

i have tried to delete steam, many times, i have waited it to update and still nothing. i keep getting errors on hlf2 installation, i installed it from steam and when i tried to play CSS it came up with ANOTHER error message

models\Gib\wood_gob01e.mdl cannot be found or located or map differs from server, people have said delete the maps in the maps folder BUT i have no maps :flame:

this is really getting on my nerves :flame:
