my bro was playing CS on Steam, and he was having great fun :),

till...

a dude cunningly named, 'I have an aimbot' joins the game :sleep: .

no suspicions there :rolleyes: .Ive never seen such a load of buggery, in a previously, perfectly enjoyable game,

wall hacking, flying through the sky, hitting your head perfectly with the first shot everytime,,

Valve, Ban these people, surely more can be done about this kind of crap,

the dude got some serious banter from other players, and he would just respond with... : hOmO

Bah, seems CS is for hacker's I hope CS:S isnt ruined by these Scagheads :x .

its funny hearing other peoples stories, but when it happens infront of your eyes, its totally different :O
 
Best thing you can do is leave immediatly and hope everyone else in the game will also leave right away as well.

it will be eventually.... just enjoy the first few months while they last i guess ;(
 
There aren't that many cheaters nowadays, a year ago I would encounter at least one on any 32 player server every other map. Now it's more like one every week or two. We just have to wait and see if VAC2 will be able to detect all cheats new or old.
 
the joys of having admin. i havent seen a cheater in about a month though. cs isnt as plagued with cheaters as some people think.
 
I've seen quite a few on the server that I usually play on and I reeeeeeeeeeeally wish that I was the f*ckin' admin so I could always ban those stupid f*ckers. They reaaaally piss the shit outta' me... err, yeah.
 
60% of the time, cheating is mistaken for skill. But when it's easy to see like that with the floating and such there is no place for it in CS, but it has become accepted by people to just let the hacker have his fun, and wait for him to leave or to leave the server and come back later.
 
these people like nothing better than to cause as much disruption to the game as possible. They don't care how many kills their cheats get them, they only say 'omg ir so 1337 j00 suck' etc to wind people up.

They are the scum of the earth, and should be dealt with as such.

Valve: If Source detects any cheats running on anyones machine, Please say that their steam accounts will be frozen forever, and maybe even bump their multipliers up to 5,000 for good measure.
 
They are the same kind of people who use the diamond lane in rush hour traffic even though they are the only ones in the car and it takes me 30 minutes to get on the freeway from the beginning of the onramp. I am patient like most people and wait, but a few are real dicks because the Diamond lane is a reward. I was amazed to see atleast 20 idiots do this today as I was getting on the freeway. I have concluded that the more people on the earth there are, the higher the % of idiots will rise and is rising.
 
it's also called the HOV lane (high occupancy vehicles?) ... it is separated from the other lanes so that you don't have to wait for traffic, and serves as an incentive for people to carpool. it isn't everywhere, but many busy highways in the US have them.
 
Cheaters are fun. Well, ones that don't shoot through walls. I make it a game, try and kill them before they kill you. It's entirely possible, too :) Again, assuming they don't shoot through the walls
 
Thats the reason I quit CS. It is filled with cheaters or people in clans yelling "NOOBS OMGOOSE I CANT BELIVE I DIED!! THAT HACKER!!!" then if you say something back to them they ban u. CS:S will be the same.. I already know people who are gonna start developing cheats for CS:S the day its released. sad...

CS is NOT filled with cheaters, contrary to popular belief.

Granted, there are people who cheat, but they're in the ABSOLUTE minority (1%, if even)
 
Yea...Sh00z3r is right.I for one bearly see any hackers anymore.I think it's because of VAC.It will take them some time to make new cheats for CSS...hell I bet source has some added security feature in it...who knows?

If only 1% of the community is cheats then why is valve so determined to get rid of them? why do people get so pissed off by them if its only 1%. Its MUCH higher then that.
 
Because 1% out of 1,000,000 people playing is a lot.No matter if it's just 1 cheater or 100,000.There all the same....
 
shuzer i thought you were an honest cs player, but now i see that your developing new cheats for the game that will most likely not be dealt with by vac, i just hope you won't be using that monstrosity on cs:s...........

Heh well thats cs for you. Play a nice game of TFC and i have honestly only seen one hacker in the whole time Ive played it and i never saw anyone accusing other people of hacking the worst thing people complained about was spamming with grenades which was acceptable. Makes me want to play it right now.

I get accusing of hacking all the time, just becuase I tau through walls ;(

It's annoying.
 
last night on a clan war the opposing force left half way through accusing us of cheating, they accused one player in paticular cause they all ran into his fire.

It made me very sad to see them call him a cheat... I had a higher kill score :)

Haha, The same thing happened to my in DOD. I was on a team with a few guys from IRC I was chatting to. The map was DOD_Caen. We started out loosing thanks to a few well placed grens from the opposing Team, they then began taunting us by calling us N00bs. So all four of us decided to use MG42's and slowly move forward taking one flag at a time.

We all spawned and ran forward ducking behind debree incase a camper was nearby. We all got back up and ran to the second flag in an /\ formation. I ducked behind a wall whilst a teamate managed to kill one guy at the third flag. I ducked around the corner and got another with the Luger. The other two moved forward and took the third flag. I went around the back way with the remaing teamate and secured the fourth flag.

This is when we set up a deployed MG-42 line and blasted 3 guys to all hell. This is when thats started calling us cheaters merly becuase we where kinda camping (But thats why MG42's can be deployed in the first place for), while trying to figure out how to take the last two flags.

Oh well :LOL:

you can blatantly tell who's got an aimbot, even if their not hacking.

their screen wobbles like they have parkinson's, till they lock onto a target.
 
when your dead or in spectator mode, if your able to, scroll through to watch the player who you think has the aimbot from his 1st person perspective.
 
I used to cheat ALOT in CS until about a year ago when I realized how boring it was and played for serious for a while.. The experience has given me a sixth sense though when it comes to spotting who cheats and who doesn't.

And it's pretty good news on the cheating front now, almost all cheats are detected by VAC and stuff, you have to do shitloads of rewriting and stuff on all current downloadable cheats and adjust them after each Steam update to avoid being detected. :)
 
I've only been on one server where I have ever seen anyone truly hack, I have been playin' since last year too. I guess I'm just lucky....
 
I remember one time I was playing CoD when it first came out, some guy was using an aimbot and it was so funny cause it was so obvious, all you had to do was go into the killcam and you could see it at work, but the good news was the guy quickly got banned
