Uh...the only kind of gear money will get you in WoW is crappy greens and a few blues that still won't really come in handy for raiding. You should just run the blue instances and get your set there, instead of buying fake money for a game that eventually gets boring.

But seriously, I don't see the point in buying gold except to afford certain professions like Enchanting or Engineering. Because the most you're picking up in the armor department is some BOE's. Better off farming DM for a bit. And I don't see why you'd be kept from running in raids, since many of them require hoarding up on +Resistance gear, which you can get crafted for you.

Personally, I'd just run UBRS constantly. If you have Skinning, that is.

Require's Finkle's Skinner. But if you manage to lay your hands on a Pristine Hide of The Beast, you can sell it for around 400-700 gold. I've picked up four already, and I don't even run instances all that much. I usually piss all that gold away real soon though.

And DM has tons of hunter stuff. Gold buying sucks, being a hunter sucks, and being a NE hunter just makes you gay.

What!? Tell me you aren't being serious!? Wow, the people who play WOW seem pretty screwed up. The Economy must be pretty bad too if you can't get decent gear with money. I remember in UO the only realistic way at getting decent gear quickly was trading for it. If it becomes too easy to get money the value of it becomes worthless.

I agree, the game may be fun * Though not my cup of tea* I just can't justify spending money on an item/money in the game.

Kind of like the official Magic: The Gathering game...where you had to spend dollars to get cards....That was mind boggling to me.

I can't believe you just bought gold to buy stuff for a HUNTER! The best farming class ingame. My main is a Hunter, before i started doing MC and that it took maybe 2 or 3 weeks to get full blues none of which was bought. Go Scholo, get that bone bow and BS head, do the quest in WPL to get the will of the martyr necklace. Do strat baron get 2x bone slicing axes and stick +15 agility on both. Get the legs from Scholo of them bosses at the end before last boss and get the bone golem shoulders. Get the BS gloves and belt get the fraternity ring from the ZF quest (lvl 45?) buy the hunter book for the hunter trinket and do that in DM (solo'able if you got key) do the ony chain and get the 2% crit chance trinket from killing Rend (and you'll get ony key at the end to).

You shouldn't compromise your account because you want to raid when you can spend a little time doing some piss easy instances and get MUCH better blue's than you can buy from the AH.
