It's always a possibility, but it's unlikely.

With each CS:S beta update the Source engine is getting more and more stable, a lot of the game resources so far are already on our computer systems and the game is supposed to RC on the 15th September.

Apparently the RC period for HL1 was 48 hours before it went gold so technically it's more likely that we're going to see it late September, early October.

But yeah... 2005 is a possiblilty, but if you think about it, it's just as much of a possibility as 2004 or 2006 even

If it's going to be 2005 it wouldn't be January because everyones on holidays and so fourth. February would be spent finalising it for a March 2005 release.
