Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven. Don't even try to argue. :)

sorry to argue but....i'm so sick of that song. i can't see what the big draw is about it anymore. at least you've got good taste eh?

Tupac shakur ft outlawz - the good die young
Tupac shakur ft outlawz - teardrops and close caskets.

I'm not saying these are the best songs ever made, but they are in MY list, and they also bring a message...straight classics... :)

Feeder - Oxygen.

Though I love about a million songs so that's not my actual favourite, just one of them. That one has alot of meaning for me though.

Oh and: Powderfinger - My Happiness.

I'm always torn between these songs as my most favourite:
Jimi Hendrix - Castles Made Of Sand
Jimi Hendrix - Little Wing
Van Halen - Running With The Devil
AC/DC - Whole Lotta Rosie
Led Zeppelin - Kashmir

And my favourite album of all time has to be Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd. Nothing even comes remotely close to it in my opinion.

Argh! I don't have a favorite song..
If it has to contain lyrics then I would go for Radiohead - Paranoid Android

I'm hooked on the British rock scene right now. I can't stand some of the stuff the Americans have recently thrown at our little islands (though that doesn't mean half the stuff we make isn't crap :) )

Amplifier -- The Consultancy
(Manchester's second finest new band)

Oceansize -- Size of an Ocean
(Manchester's first finest new band)

Muse -- Time is Running Out
(Space rock on top of the beat from Billie Jean? These guys deserve a medal!)

Sikth -- Skies of the Millennium Night
(the definition of insanity)

Funeral For A Friend -- Rookie of the Year
(Thursday? Finch? pfft)

The Darkness -- Black Shuck
(I doubt anyone outside Britain will be able to appreciate the tongue-in-cheek cock-rock factor of The Darkness. At least the music is brilliant)

Velvet Underground - Sweet Jane
James Brown - Funky Drummer (extended)
Bob Marley - Put It On and No Woman No Cry

Anything, and i mean ANYTHING by TOOL. Best band ever. full stop.

ray_MAN:

'Led Zeppelin - Rambe On'

Good choice :)

My favourite song changes every minute, but here goes:

Rob D - Clubbed to Death (kurayamino mix)
^ every song is improved through dramatic piano solos :)
Chemical Brothers - The Golden Path
The Beatles - Eleanor Rigby
A3 - Sad Eyed Lady of the Lowlife
Subway to Sally - Herrin des Feuers
and many more...

Also, pretty much everything by Rammstein and by Zeromancer=

Isn't that their new one on that compilation CD? I must say that all their new tracks SUCKS!! They've lost their good old Big beat sense, now it's all about making money!

I have no idea, I just heard it on the radio and the tune was extremely catchy and the lyrics are hilarious, so I dowloaded it off kazaa post-haste. :)

"They said he was the de-vil/ And he spoke his words full of black flowing la-va/ From the mouth of a vol-ca-no" <--(sung with a very happy tune)

That song is new, yeah, and it's with the Flaming Lips :)

Another very good band. Someone else mentioned Black Shuck! Yay! :D

System Of A Down - P.L.U.C.K.
Led Zepplin - Immigrant Song
Rolling Stones - Paint it Black

nice to see such a lot of peppers ;D

my best song in the world is Soul to Squeeze (rhcp)

oh man, I forgot about Soul to Squeeze, that use to be my favorite song, and now it is again. Haha, how easily I forget.

Edit: I guess that happens when you have ~3000 songs in your playlist and don't here some of them for a long while.

[[ korn - Right Now ]]

Ooh yea.. the max payne 2 song is called:
Poets of the Fall - Late Goodbye :)

I concur with someone in this thread: Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon is the best album ever.

Hmm... I have redecided, The Strokes - Someday is much better than my original choice

Typhon, its Tribute to the best song in the world - Tenacious D
