I've just had a quick game of Day of Defeat and joined an empty Natural Selection server. It works for me.

Feath how did u manage to get ur NS into the Steam games list?

i did choose to have it added to the Steam list.. but its not there

Didn't try DOD, but when I joined a NS server, every time (tried like 4-5 times) I tried joining a team it got disconnected.

There was only one server and it was empty. But, I managed to join marines and fire at the wall before leaving. I think mod teams will be testing and putting out updates.

And the converter worked fine for me, all my mods are the Steam game list.

Unless Godforbid Valve do what they are most liked for and listen to there fans and include a ingame server browser.

I can't be ****ed with steam, and quite frankly it's starting to seem an even bigger pain in the arse than gamespy.

Unaimed is a mod designed to fill in the gap if HL2 lacks team combat
(it will do if HL2 has it too )

The big difference is that it just have Combines as the fighting forces, not scientists or resistance or junk. Blue, Black and White Combine (the masks).

The story of the game is not up on the page yet, but if anyone wants to know, heres the background:

Black Combine: "You suck!"
White Combine: "Who, me?"
Blue Combine: "Yeah, you too!"
White Combine: "LETS GET IT ON!"
