and I I will like a litle bit of help in the begining cuz I feel like out of place cuz the map is like too boxy, and well I know the game is old but still I need some litle guide

btw for what I hav played the game looks interesting even if the graphics reminds me of the first half life

So what is it you need help with then? If you have hacking skills and a number of locks and multitools, go through the front of the statue, through the vent in the wall in the rear left, take out the guards, free gunther, proceed up the statue. If your hacking leaves something to be desired, climb up the boxes round the rear and get in that way. Mind the explosives planted around the central spire. Return downstairs if you want the bonus for freeing gunther, but that can be risky.

In general, explore the island. Go round the perimeter first, meet the NPC at the dock, go searching for pickups and login-codes off dead bodys and hidden crates. There is a neat weapons cache in a sunken ship off the dock. Sorry i'm not too much help, been a while since I played. :)

It must be awesome going through Deus ex for the first time for you, not knowing whats ahead.

I might buy it, I've never played it.... Should I?

If anyone here dosn't own it buy it now! The only things that actualy seem dated is the AI and the physics(well, graphics too of course but I've never personly gave a damn about them)

@<RJMC>
Please don't write like "I like need a litle help cuz"

Venezuala tbh.

I'll buy it tomorrow.

Dont play the first play the second .
I actually got bored of the first and started cheating (dragontooth on the first level and owning everyone), but played all the way through the second with no boredom. I however suggest you do play the first first. The second has a lot of the story missing if you haven't completed the first.

Erm....why?

Anyway playing through the first then the second would be the clever thing to do since the second one does have quite a bit to do with the first, like old characters coming back. Not only that the first is known to be a much better game than the second although the second isn't really that bad.

Don't get the second, it's such a disapointment. Almost all the bloody unique features where thrown out.

Buy the second. While in no way a worthy sequel in any shape or form, it is still very fun to play with an interesting story and interesting characters. Consider it more of a map pack, rather than a sequel.
I for one had alot of fun with it. Play the "Lets own the Archology chairman in as many ways possible" game. Its fun fun!

The first is so amazing, I wish I could play something like that again.

it's a steep learning curve to begin with, which initially put me off when I played it first, but when I went back, I got into it and it was one of my favourite games of all time.

I've had Deus Ex 2 for about a year, but haven't played it, since it runs so sluggishly on my current PC.

I guess I'll play it once I get a new PC. But that won't be so soon I think.

Hmm I expect you were angry with the way DeusEx2 handled biomods yeah? Well at first I was a bit dissapointed too, but it actually worked out nicely because I had to choose between full agression, full stealth, or the healing stuff. If you choose one from each then it makes the game a lot harder to get through because you're not using a set path.
I chose stealth/hacking but had the agressive life leech (spawns nano-bots that degenerate a corpse or body to give you health which I really needed) and it worked out fine.

I tried a demo of both...and the second game was an abomination...

1 propane tank + 1 sentry gun + AI that suck beyond belief = entire map rid of baddies :/

so lame...

first one was better IMO...

This was my favorite game of all time!!!
A word of advice........try robbing the convience store in china....its right by the bar........the results are hilarious and what you find inside my help you later in the game.....
