Have you ever sat down to eat anything with one of your companions and even watched anybody eat. Don't you just hate it when they chew their food with their mouths open? Or chew gum with an open mouth? It's probably one of the most disgusting things I have witnessed in my life. The sound of that slurping, chewing, sloping, and swallowing is just....I can't even describe.

I just decided to write this because my dad ate spagetti with his mouth open. I want to puke :bonce:

My gf's brother eats like.....well.....lets just say it sounds like about 10 guys running through the mud.

Dosn't matter what he's eating, it will sound like that. And he WILL talk with his mouth open.

He's got some problems, anger issuise(sp?), and he opologyzes about crap CONSTANTLY! You'll tell him to shut up because he's doing his stupid screaming laugh again at somthing really really stupid, he says I'm sorry (or he yells at you) and after the 5th time of saying I'm sorry about somthing, you tell him to stop saying "I'm sorry". Oh, then what does he say? I'M SORRY!!!!!!

I don't mind that. The thing that disguses me is when after eating, they dig out pieces of food from gums and whlie at that they moves their lipms as they are going to blow chunks right now. My grandmom used to do that, now she's got almost no teeth.

the open mouth thing doesn't bug me... (got a friend, he said chewing with the mouth open mixes the food with oxygen and it tastes better... whatever, maybe correct, i don't care... works for wine though) what DOES bug me is the sound some people make with their mouths closed... tough to describe ... kinda like a ... piggish ... umm... sound... anywho it doesn't sound apetizing one bit.

btw, loshadka, ss20 is surface to surface and shot down a stealth... sucks to be that pilot... tee hee, that is a good story

I generally don't mind it, but when they get the food all over their mouth and on their shirt (yeah wtf) from chewing with their mouth open I get grossed out. and they I asked one of the people why they do that and they said "I gotta come up for air" lol wtf.

The thing that disgusts me is when people bring homemade food to eat in a public place. I mean, its 90 desgrees outside, and suddenly the guy takes out a huge sandwich with bologna, cheese, and some sort of mystery bread from his bag. Then waters it down with some orange juice in a Pepsi bottle he's clearly been saving from the early 1990's.

Ugh .. once I see something like that I try to run as quickly as possible.

i always eat quietly without opening my mouth... and i can't talk with my mouth open because it just doesn't feel right to have people look at my chewed-up food. but my other family members either eat with their mouths open, or make those annoying smacking sounds. what's especially nasty is people that have little particles of food fly out of their mouths when they talk, or even just spit on you. and then if something gets on me i discretely try to wipe it off...

[edit] actually the spit thing's not that gross compared to people sharing food and utensils and stuff. it's kinda nasty to see all my classmates spreading their spit around with each other.

I dont really like it when people eat with their mouths open, because it so easy not to and it just doesnt look nice. I dont really mind sharing food and stuff unless they person has some kind of illness.

When people spit food on your, i either just out right say you just spat on me or i pretend to try and wipe it off without them noticing, but i make sure they do notice. The latter is normally the best because they either just apologise of get really worked up about it for hours.
