I just saw a Dianetics.org commercial on Discovery

Wow... You have got to be kidding me! Couldn't believe my eyes. Scientology has a commercial on the Discovery Channel for dianetics.org

First time I've seen it, and I watch it all the time.

So I figured I would alert the internets, at least hl2.net.

I walked into a Dianetics store(?) back in the late 80's before Hubbard turned it into a religion and called it scientology ..it was a personality test where once you had results you'd get "counseling" as to what "programs" you should take to "fix yourself" ..they're all about helping yourself ..with the help of thousands of dollars worth of idiot courses

I came up "confrontational" and "procastinator" ..I can see the confrontational thingy (I was a teen and went in their specifically to stir up ideological shit ...and it's taken me almost 10 mins to finish this reply cuz ..I procrastinate

Scientology was a religion well before the 1980's. In fact, Charles Manson practiced Scientology in prison during the late 50's.

Well, considering Discovery does shit like, "A Haunting" and "UFO Files" its really not a surprise.

What's even worse is that half of the History Channel has bullshit shows like, "Mysteries of the Bible", "History in the Bible" and "Science of the Bible", all of which start with the conclusion that everything in the bible is correct, and then misinterpret historical and scientific data to support their conclusion.

Not seen it on the Discovery channel here. Not that it matters, i prefer National Geographic over both Dicovery and the History Channel. Their shows are at least factual and interesting unlike loads of discoverys where they go ghost hunting.

my mistake for not making myself clear ..it was recognised as a religion by the US in 1993 ..I was refering to that date

I remember the Dianetics book by LRon Hubbard commercials that would come on all the ****ing time back in the 80's

it showed the book with lava exploding in the background and it was kinda scary TBH. APOCALYPSE IF YOU DON'T READ THIS BOOK
