It's obvious to me that the console versions are holding up the PC. The PC version could get away with having a release with a few problem, just as HL2 did. I'd say there's more pressure to get the console versions spot on as these versions are not going to have the kind of access to constant updates via Steam like the PC version does. So Valve should have released for PC & let who ever is doing the console versions worry about their end of things!

Well, console games aren't usually plagued by as many glitches and bugs as PC game simply because consoles are made from set hardware and the game should run the exact same on every console, making debugging a tad easier. On the PC versions you have to make it compatable with EVERYTHING.
