I remember the days when I confiscated comic books for the Student Department. If it was Death Note, I didn't even return it to them after the semester. That was seriously horrible. I couldn't stand it.


But, amv was quite ok. :)

I guess I've failed miserably as I love anime ( you could tell from my avatar, sig and my YT account) and I have made 4 amvs and will soon make another one.

This is a thread about his work, don't turn this into a ****ing debate on Anime. If you don't like Anime, get out, and don't bitch about it here. We don't care.

Anyway, the song set the mood pretty well for that, though it didn't seem like there was enough..going on. Rather good though, I'll check out the others you've made.

*EDIT* The Ah! My Goddess! Requiem for a Dream video was pretty awesome, though I've never seen the show. Is it really good?

Yeah personally it one of my fav anime. If you ask other people you will usually get differing opinions but I LOVE IT (to the point of obsession if you didn't already notice :p )
 
Haha, yeah. I'm that way with a couple. You should check out Scrapped Princess and Chrono Crusade. Pretty good animes. I'll have to watch a bit of AMG.

I liked it. At first when I heard the song that was playing I was thinking, "What does this have to do with Death Note? ...Oh, I get it." It actually turned out to be a pretty good choice. I think you did a good job, so kudos.
 
Well, at least I learned what AMV stands for, so I can now avoid all AMV's. I never knew what the acronym stood for, and as such, ive been suckered into some anime videos. I dislike anime. Now, if someone actually made their own animation to go with some music, I probably would watch it, since that takes effort. Splicing video clips? Not so much.

Not a jab at you, mind. Just my opinion on the matter.

Well, it does take effort when you try and arrange the clips to go along with the song to convey some sort of meaning or message. There are tons of really shitty AMV's that just slap on random clips to random music...but Lambda's AMV was actually thought out so therefore there was effort put into it. Besides there is way more to AMV making then just taking random clips of video and putting them on a timeline. Several AMV makers put time and effort to add effects to the video that enhance it, and that isn't easy, trust me.


Lambda, i liked your video, good job :D I'm in the middle of making my own with Akira, i'll post it up here when i'm finished.
 
I think it seems like a video for fans of the anime, as I had no idea what was going on at ANY point in that video, and it was all around a little... well, boring, to be frank.

Besides that the editing seems alright. Choice of song is probably relevant (again, for fans) but I didn't think much of it.

Oh, and thanks for spoiling Deathnote for me. Lol.

Wait what? you do realize how stupid that sounds right? Learning how to use video editing software and then putting those skills to a practical purpose ie a hobby does not result in failure of life. God some people are just jerks. In a similar manner that's like pulling out a megaphone during a football match and saying football is waste of time. The difference being you'll still live after insulting people over the internet.

As for the video I liked it, very nice.
 
I've still got to watch Deathnote, but there are so many other things I have to buy/watch. :( I'm over loaded!
 
The anime seemed pretty interesting (I haven't watched anime in ages but would like to get back into it again), but I've definitely outgrown Evanescence. Ew.
 
Actually I dont like evanescence that much. I just thought that the song suited it well.
 
sry to be such a harsh critic here but hate it the music and the video mostly the music though no hard feelings
