I need a new media player

alright, my Winamp is screwing up on me and i need something else to listen to my music to. Does anyone know of a good, free media player that i can use?

My Winamp did that to me also. Uninstall then re install it from www.winamp.com that fixed mine anyway.

It's disorganised, the UI is clunky, playlists are badly managed as well as WMA being an utterly horrid format.

mine just gets an error and quits out...other times i get the "bad sounddriver" shit, but then i turn off the computer, restart and winamp works. I just decided that i have had enough of the nonsense, so im looking for a new player

iTunes is awful, i refuse to install it for anything. My mate installed it and it renamed every mp3 on his computer delted all the files and just made a massive list of all his songs. He ended up having to come to my house and taking alot of the music again to get rid of the stupid names.

I never had that problem, it was actually useful to me as I pressed this button and it got all my music into one folder (with subfolders for albums etc) as opposed to spread out.

I use iRiver Plus for music just coz i have an iriver mp3 player, i agree with kangy though, i use WMP at times and it needs a real overhaul, its so clunky.
