i need help!!! video

i have a x800xt pe

i replaced my stock fan with a zalman vf900.

turns out the heatsensors were on the heatsink itself

so when i run the smartdoctor, there are no temps. the heatsink is off.

is there any 3rd party temperature things i can use to check?

Thats odd because my X850xt had the senors built into the chip just like all the other ati cards with overdrive. Did you use the temp listing in the Overdrive pannel before?

i dont knwo what that is.

i used smartdoctor to check the temps.

but ever since i removed hte default heatsink fan. the temps dont come up.

the application does not work properly

i dont know wht overdrive pannel is.

i have not installed the controll center, only the drivers.

Try installing the whole package, control panel and the drivers. As Asus says, the temp is usually listed in the Overdrive panel.

ive never heard of a temp. sensor being on a heatsink
