I need references

Who are the best people to put down for references. I don't really know anyone in this town and I've never worked. Any suggestions?

School staff? Really can't think of anyone if you've never worked.

If you play any sports, coaches are usually good references too.

neighbors, close family friends, teachers, the milk man, taxi drivers, animals, priests.

The first people to look for are

- People you have worked for.

If you dont have them..

- People you have done vollentery work for
- If your a member of a club, more so if its one that deals with teamwork/leadership or the profession your looking to get into, there a very good one to use.
- School teachers if you have left school within the last few months,

If all else fails..

- Family friend. Never put your own family members down if you can help it, as most employers wont care if your family say good things about you.. as there hardly going to say bad stuff.

Its that or just leave it blank, if your just starting work after leaving school, they should not mind that you dont have.

Oh yeh, you can put down refrences that aren't real and somehow you are "Unable" to reach them, ever. But, then you hafta make a very elborate lie....

Do yardwork for your neighbors, and put a lot of effort into your work. Then use them as references. That's what I did.
