...because the Halo 2 fans will gloat in our faces and make us jealous of a game that isn't that great to begin with (I wouldn't know b/c I don't have an XBOX- just exposing my bias :cheese: )
LOL it was hilarious this kid in my school was like "What are you gonna do when Halo 2 comes out...?" I wa like "...I dunno." Also, that very kid persuaded his history teacher to move a test back b/c he's staying up all night to play it. HAHAHA :LOL:

Yeah, Those damn halo 2 fanboys. I know a kid that says HL2 sucks and I was like...you haven't even played it retard. He says Halo 2 will beat any game. I said I don't think so.

well most halo2 fans 'in the know' already have it.

one i know of thinks its worse than the first, he especially thinks the ending is awful.
 
Well, i really don't care whether or not it's released on the day halo 2 comes out (although i DO know quite a few Halo 2 fanboys), any release date change for the earlier would be nice :D

I think VALVe should unlock the STEAM users Half-Life 2 and everyone else can wait. As they said that we would get HL2 first :dork:
 
you're all damn idiots. they'll both be AWESOME games. (along with gta:sa and ratchet and clank--which i didnt know about before checking gamerankings.com--making this an incredible season for gaming(granted i dont have a ps2 nor do i play those games)...oh, and that pretty doom game.)

anyway...halo2 will sell more and make more money than hl2, because it's a console game, and we all know that no matter how great the games for consoles are, console gamers are just those who haven't made the next step up to PC games.

for me...i don't have ANY consoles, but i've played halo a damn good bit at my friends house, so i'm doing my homework (due the 16th) this weekend, since i'll be practically living at my friends' house for a week starting on monday night for halo 2, and then on monday night for me the day hl2 is released, it's bye-bye "real" world.

in any case...those of you who think it's a challenge between halo2/hl2 are idiots...they'll both be great games, and i sincerely pitty those of you who won't/can't/don't play halo2, because you'll be missing some good gaming action. that said, even if the games are perfectly equal (which i doubt), hl2>all simply for the fact that its a PC game, and PC games have one thing on their side that rules the universe and makes a good game from a 10/10 to a 10million/10: mods.

and that's my rant.

I don't see whats so revolutionary about halo 2. Halo 1 was the most overrated game ever and halo 2 looks no different.

It was a great game but it isn't in a class of its own like Doom, Goldeneye and Half-Life

I feel sorry for you guys who think there can only be one good game. Im going to like them both.
 
Halo 2 = pwn (cept for the end)
Half-Life 2 = will pwn

neither will pwn more or less than the other due to the console VS pc thing... if they were both on the xbox, HL2 would pwn it (this is NOT PC gamer bias talking, HL2 will just plain pwn)
 
the true question, is not whether Half-Life 2 will own Halo 2. But, will Halo 2 will own Ninja Gaiden

They will both be awesome, probably hl2 better, because of physics, but not by much.
My friends says hl2 is released in Quebec, when he was there a month ago, lmao, he also said he played it and it sucked, he has no idea what he is talking about, he was watching videos.
Its gonna be a tie
So, halo2 will be released first, just say that since hl2 was worked on longer, it is more advanced and better :p
