Any big displacements haning around? Say, one with the DIRTFLOOR005B material applied to it?

thats must be the ground in my map. but i cant remove that, i really need it. are there any way to fix it without removing it???

i have maked it smaller but its still to large. how are you supposed to do then. or is just my hammer editor ****ed up or something.?

Take your big and not correct displacement and destroy it. You now get the original brush. Use the clip tool to cut that brush up into several pieces and make a displacement out of them one by one.

Hey that's a great idea. If you're mapping for Half Life 1.

Try and remake those displacements but don't fvck them up. Remember that displacement maps don't block vis, so you'll need a world brush underneath that displacement to seal the map.

Read a tutorial on displacements so you understand their limitations. Then remake your displacements as Pesmerga describes.

You have displacements in HL1 :O

Also, the log contains no leaks so I think the brushes underneath the displacements is not the problem at hand.

Adn the only way to get out of too big displacements is smaller displacements. I doubt they were messed at all. Just big.

Results 1 - 10 of about 3,420 for pruneNodes

Google finds that many results for pruneNodes, all realted to compile logs... I don't knwow what it actualy does but its fairly common.

thanks for the help everyone. it works now.But "KineticAestheti", what do you mean with the "this could so easily be the retardet typing of a small child?"
