I Refuse To Play This Game Ever Again

I just logged in to play some good ol Battlefield 2. I click on BFHQ and what do I see? Nothing....all of my awards, medals, ribbons, badges, stats even my rank has been reset. I look at the screen, shocked...refusing to belive what I'm seeing. I log out, thinking I must have somehow made a mistake logging in. But no, when I log back in I still see that all of my stats have been erased. **** you EA, seriously, **** YOU!!

They are just stats, don't worry so much about it. I was ranked #9 with the anti tank kit, then I got into a clan, so I just started a new account. Stats mean nothing.
 
......And a tear ran down the buttcheek.

Stats are stats..nothing huge. And if they mean THAT much to you, maybe they will return..the stats servers have been acting funny lately.
 
I just noticed, my stats are messed up, and so my friends stats, I am sure they will either all be reset, or we will get them back.
 
I know it really doesn't matter, I'm just irritated that this kind of thing could happen just like that. Maybe the account servers are just acting up and it was just a glitch...it is EA after all. I'll check back in a couple of hours and hopefully everything will be back to normal. In the meantime, discuss how much you hate EA and all of the problems with Battlefield 2 so far.
 
stats schmats. just play the game. Sure it may be cool to unlock a different weapon or get a new ribbon, but that shouldn't prevent you from enjoying this game.

I would be pissed too if I lost my unlock, but it really doesn't matter because I'll only probably be playing in clan matches for the rest of my bf2 days.

That happened to me, my stats came back in a few days - a week.

The 206th division, although I doubt I'll be staying, the people there really suck at bf2....

It is all right guys. I gave him a reasonable answer. I told him that his account could have been one of the hacked ones with all unlocks so EA had to reset his stats and are quite possibly putting his stats back to where he had them as we speak. Although, I just think thats doubtful..

You could try out for [clan], but the decision is up to the leaders. We have pretty steep requirments now, since we have so many members. Although, I think you could probably get in if you are really good on the ground, tanks specifically. Oh and you could defintley get in if you are an amazing pilot, but no offense I doubt you are, since there are like only 30 in the game :p
 
D'oh, just realised Pes was talkin bout [clan] not a random clan, i feel very foolish now, but the offer still stands.

In my opinion I'm the best anti-infantry I know, just give me a carbine/rifle and I can pretty much dominate any type of infantry situation. Honestly I only play Anti-Tank so much because vehicles pretty much are the only thing keeping me down in a game, aside from snipers. I would honestly love to be in your clan though, I'm just worried that positions are full.... I'll check up with their website and browse around...

If you want to try out we have a scrimmage tonight we could probably(not sure, leaders decide who plays...) get you in. Just a few things though, you need a mic, and don't make any annoying/useless comments or stupid jokes :D

lol, yeah I've got a mic, although it's going to be hard not to scream "Hiiiiighwaay to the danger zone!!!" while flying in a jet fighter :-D

There's a lot of things that are wrong with this game. The interface is HORRIBLE.
 
Ok...it seems that it was just a bug after all. I just checked and everything was back to normal. EA really needs to sort out their shit. Personally I would have rather waited another 3 months and gotten a bug free game than have had it come out when it did with as many things wrong with it as there are.
 
Well, its Gamespy with the Rank Server database, so lets attack them, because they have sucked for a bit.

I've gotten over my post count. As I've said on several occasions already THE MODS WERE RIGHT!

With the stats, they were just the last straw. There have been so many things wrong with BF2 so far, having my stats reset on top of it all would have just been what finally got me to stop playing because it wouldn't have been worth it.

I wouldn't continuously make a huge deal out of it especially when there are many precedents.
