Yeah i saw a pic posted on /v/, he was playing the SC2 Dota.
 
Should have asked how many more years this trip would delay Ep3.
 
I wonder if Gabe Newell has the plans for Episode Three hidden away in the depths of his body fat. Should have asked him that, too. Maybe even checked. I mean, I would've done it.

Imagine his face when Gabe sat down next to him.
"HEY MAN THAT SEAT IS TAKEN ITS FOR MY BRO....HOLY SHIT GABE!!?"
 
I would have jumped to him screaming things like "I am over the head of gabe newell!" and asked him to sign my belly saying I am practiquing to be like him

That picture is great. It looks like he just Waltzed in like "Hay Guise", and just started stealing ideas from Blizzard.

Why's there no crowd or anything? Maybe he isn't so famous amoung Blizzard fanboys...

He also looks aghast by the computer, doesn't look like he knows how to work it.
 
i used to see a guy at work that look just like Gabe, his face is so recognizable but everywhere!

In all seriousness, that's probably just default Gabe face. Or maybe default Gabe-playing-RTSes face.
 
Yeah, Gabe seems to have that puzzled, dazed look in many places, he's probably just trying to decide how Episode three will begin.

It would've been cool to see him there though, it'd be pretty unreal for him to just sit down next to you. I wonder how many people there pestered him about Half-Life.
 
When I spoke to him, he mentioned that SC2 online is starting to get really difficult.

He plays SC2 a lot I guess?

Did you talk about the DOTA competition? What was he playing in the SC2 section? There were a few mods including Left 2 Die & DOTA for SC2 which I assume he went to try.
 
Hahah, nice. IIRC that's not the first time Kotaku has used Halflife2.net as a source, I remember it happening years ago but dunno what for.

Gabe was in a hurry to what I believe was the bathroom, so I only got to talk for a short bit, but he did ask me what my favorite so far in Blizzcon was. Told him it was SC2, to which he responded by saying that he finds the online community becoming more difficult lately (people are starting to suck less dick at RTS). Pretty awesome that he plays SC2.
