i was walking down to wh smith and as i passed this hotdog stand i saw this homeless guy holding a sign saying and i swear im telling the truth.

"I dont care if im broke and i cant afford to eat,half life 2 is gold,now all i need is for you to buy me a computer"


omfg i gave him 1 pound just for the humour of it,i was in tears of laughter it was sooo damn funny hahaha,anyone else got funny gold storys?
 
I shall move there, and sympathise with the hobos. any fan o' halfife is a fanno mine.

The homeless in the UK are well educated. We train them up, then throw them out on the street. I dont know why. I have a funny story.
I saw a guy get pulled by his dog into the road today, and the dog just stood staring at him as he lay in the road cars incoming. As i laughed (sorry) the cars saw him and stopped, they were okay...oh then i remebered i pre-ordered half-life 2 yesterday and it was gold! :bounce: :cheese:

the funniest thing i have ever seen was this arrogant idiot (for people in the uk he was a "chav") from my school betting his friends he could headbut half a paving slab, he threw it above his head and jumped into it. it hit the back of his head and bounced, (no really) the guy just collapsed in pain and held his head while squirming on the floor. I am not a sadistic person but I have never laughed so much... I nearly wet myself

Nearly as funny as when i was in the skate park with some friends..and this wanna be jsut came u to us and started talking. Ok he was a nice lad...but he was braggin about being able to do a "Cab 540 backslide" (ok basically this mean a 540degree twist, landing on some coping, and performing a slide along it on one skate) SO we said go on. He dropped in on the quater pipe...lauched...quite proudly around 3foot above the coping (way to high for this grind) did his little sketchy 540..then landed legs parted on the coping. He had to be taken to hospital..he had split his b*ll sack!! owww.....we all laughed lol as we skated over....funny.. BUT VERY PAINFUL!
 
Well, this was before HL2 went gold. When we could purchase our packages over Steam, I bought Gold, and then went to the mall to cancel my pre-order at Game Stop. The clerk, when I told him I wanted to cancel said, "Good call...by the time Half-Life 2 comes out, you'll be married and have a full fledged family."

Found it humorous.

Having the disks early is meaningless because the games requires steam activation for all versions.

There's a homeless guy who comes into a local Radio Shack to play games all the time. His life basically revolves around video games.

wow thats insane. Probably some guy trying to be cool or to happy about hl2 going gold.
 
We got REAL homeless in the U.S.
They wouldn't need anyone to buy them a PC, because they would just play the game on the magic box they live in.



Actually its a great pattern we have here. Hippies yell at everyone for putting crazy people in asylums, then we let them out and none of them can hold a job, because they are ****ing crazy. Then when they wind up homeless and the hippies yell at everyone for not giving them free money so they can buy cars and homes. Then the crazys drive their car through a church wall and the hippies yell at everyone for not keeping them in the asylum and giving them more therapy.
 
oh! does anybody know where you can find that image of that homeless guy who broke into a street lamp to power his homeless guy computer?
