Well, not really - at least the first time.

I think the second time, I was in the wrong position on the back of the train, but the next thing I knew I had fallen off, and had to scarper like mad to leave City 17, the train with Alex on falling far away from me.

Thank God the "evacuation" scene worked properly the first time I played the game - otherwise, I might've thought that falling off the train and running out of City 17 on foot would be par for the course in this game!

Haha. That's hilarious. I thought I was going to first time. I can't help fiddling with the WASD keys during cutscenes and what with the small area I was in, I was terrified I would fall off. So I sat on my left hand.

The next level doesn't load until after you've escaped from the train. Also, the next level only loads once you've walked to a certain point, so that doesn't really explain it.

... The train escaping from City 17 has more than one level. It's far too large to just be one. Do you even know what you are talking about? You never "escape from the train." And there is most certainly no walking.

I Fell off the train, and had to Scarper like hell out there, and it teleported me back onto the train as soon as it was gunna go under that wall thing near the end

Heh... The first time I played through, I died right after my screen went white the MOMENT Alyx finished saying "Gordon...". I'm not sure if that car somehow bounced into the carriage at the wrong angle, but I ended up watching the entire credits with a red background in absolute shock and thinking "Holy crap... They... They just killed Gordon... Why would they do that?"

Yeah, the first time I played it, I fell to my death on that first jump after that thing came crashing down on the cliff edge there. Then the next time I played, I passed that, but when Dog tossed the car at us, it hit me and sent me FLYING. I swear, noclip didn't have $... on that flight. lol

I got crushed by the van that dog threw the first time because i was admiring the scenery and wasn;t paying attention to the dialogue. The next time i tried to catch it with the gravity gun, that didn't work either.

Odd... First time I played, the van landed infront of me while I was running backwards away from it, it bounced forward, and ever so gently pushed me back without damaging me at all...

hm.. all i remember is standing there and hearing Alyx saying "look out" and my screen went red, i didn't have a lot of health due to running through the fires repeadetly. I didn't get killed when i tried to catch it, but just got pushed back
