I used to hate Peter Kay (NSFW)...

But then i saw this video (well i saw the whole performance), hated the rest because of his stupid accent and missing of words, but i was in tears the first time i saw this. When he talks about the hobnobs, i was just...my sides still hurt as i write this.

Most comedians use the same material over and over ... It's why you only need to buy one DVD from each of them. I have Peter Kay at the Bolton Albert Halls - and the hobnob sketch is funny and true.

Don't get me started on Jimmy Carr. What I hate most about this bellend is how wooden he is when he's doing panal shows. I know all comedy panal show hosts often read pre-read jokes from a screen as a means of filling the gaps but this guy makes them even more wooden then they already are. I don't mind Simon telling screen jokes on Buzzcocks, or Dara on Mock the Week, but they just become so cringeworthy when Carr reads them out. And his laugh... that horrid, blatantly fake laugh he does because he NEVER finds anyway else funny on the shows he's presenting.

But Peter Kay I don't mind. Love him in Phoenix Nights and very much enjoyed his standup.

Theres not many comedians out there that I dont like. Its actually quite good actually considering 90% of stuff i watch on the Paramount comedy channel makes me laugh

Went to see Peter Kay around 3-4 years ago on his big tour and he was class. I've heard stuff about his personality (egotistical etc) but he made me laugh anyway

People are saying he's using the same material over and over probably because your watching the same stuff over and over. Hes only done 2 proper full on tours (excluding early day clubs etc). Dylan moran is good as well. I love the fact hes constantly shaking throughout all his jokes like hes drunk
