I cant get 9700Pro which i want...coz it says 300 min.

Is there anyway it would work?
if not, what card can i get ?

um you cant have 240v INPUT, afaik there is no country in the world wich has a 240v electricity net...

Um yeah there is.. the UK, me home country.

The ATI card requires 300V?? I think you are mixing your V's and your mA's my friend.

Im sorry, im not very clued up with this. I reliesed i have mixed it all up now!
I want a 9700 and i can get one new for £179. I have a 230V machine, will i be able to run it.

You should... but i wouldnt think it would have the same effect as like in a 300V or higher...

I think he means Watts, on a PSU...

Hehe, you need a minimum 300W PSU my friend....it doesnt matter about voltage, cause a PSU knock down US, and UK standards to only a few volts.

Aha, yes... Watts. Thats right.

Look for the power rating of your power supply rather than the voltage. Watts are measured with a "W" rather than a "V".

EDIT: I meant to say, if your power supply is not rated high enough you could burn it out (or worse set it on fire!!). I burned out my old power supply I have experienced this first hand.
