I want the /me command back...

Hey, why doesn't the /me command work anymore?

/me really likes this feature, bring it back now please. :)
 
/me tests the command
 
We upgraded vBulletin to 3.0.3 today so that must be what's messed it up. I've reported it to Munro and StarMonkey so they should sort it out soon enough.

Heh, things are a bit messy around here at the moment, everything should be complete and updated within a few weeks. Watch this space!!!

Not to be a negative Nancy, but haven't you been saying that for a year? :rolleyes:
 
Some things I've noticed about the new version:
Attachments are not made into new windows... (maybe its my new browser but I thought it worked before. Learned this by Xing out the window I wanted open several times)
After posting, the thread you just posted in looks "unread" when usually it wouldn't.

Is it just me, or does that happen to the rest of you? And it is trés annoying to me...

EDIT: heh, I forgot that the /me command isn't working even though I'm posting in a thread where that is the topic. :eek:

ITS SO TRUE!!!

bring back the attachments appearing in new windows (i thought it was my browser too, i blamed my freind as he was messing with IE the other day) :)

pleeease, you dont know how many times in the past day i have clicked an attachment, thought "thats crap" and closed the window, then thought "aAAAAWWW F*CK" and had to load up HL2.net again, and go back to the same thread ;(

Actually for the last few months we've been saying that things will be sorted out "soon". Soon is getting closer.

Because Chris_D wants to make every minute of your existence in agony. Or they are currently updating to vBulletin 3.0.3. Give it some time. :D

download opera, it stores all the windows you closed in one session so if you close the wrong thing you just get it back instead of having to find where you were again :) (and middle click opens stuff in a new window anyway :thumbs: )



EDIT: oh yeah, /me wants /me back :D

I never really noticed that the /me command was missing.

i noticed a new post by StarMonkey in another thread and thought i'd bring this thread to his attention by posting in here :p

StarMonkey, alot of pple around here (including myself) want the /me command back amoung other things like attachments opening in a separate window.

Please? k, thank u :E
 
I think these things will be getting fixed when the site is updated properly.
