I went to the fair :)

And i went on all these big rides which i normally wouldn't go on and i am so proud of myself. But there was this one ride that this girl ask me to go on with her and it went upside down, at first i said no, but then i just though "what the heck" and want on. And it went round and round, upside down and it stayed upside down for about 30 seconds just spinning around. None of my other mates would go on it as they were too scared, but i went on it. I then went on this other big ride which is like a big arm that swings from side to side like a pirate ship, but it isn't, and it spins round. And it swings and when it gets to the top, you think it is going to go right over the top, but it doesn't but you think it will as it goes so high. Then i had a burger as well, had a go on one of them punching bags, didn't do too well, got some nougat for me and my mum and got some chocolate nutty things as well for me. I went on the dodgems 3 times, they were fun. :bounce:

Now i have to wait for the fair to come around next year, can't wait. But there was a big gang of us down there.

grr i hate them. i live right outside where they build thier rides and open for 2 weeks, and they stole all my clothes on the line out the backgarden.

didnt go over there to get them back tho, as they all had machetes and air rifles..

Ah fairs are great. I always go on the scary rides just so I can say - I've been on that. The great thing about fair rides is they're so unbelieveably unsafe, it makes your hurt pump alot more when the ride breaks and your dangling upside down 50 feet in the air! Well, it's great as long as you don't kill yourself

There were a lot of townies there lastnight, couple hung around with my group, but they seemed ok, no trouble at all.

Think it's a Gypsy fair, don't know though, but some of the ladies behind the counters though were...very fine . I also met a very nice lady on the ride going upside down as well

Somebody died I believe, the gypsys aren't aloud to have the fair here now.

The wheel was just a poorly welded frame, with about 6 spinning carrages on each point.

It isn't a tiny little fair with a few ferris wheels and donkey rides and things like that but a huge fair with many, many huge rides, etc, but also the shooting galleries, etc with a couple of rigged games that you can't win. :hmph:

i used to have one 'near' me, bout 20-30 miles away..lol.

porthcawl, used to be nice, gone downhill, and now is gonna be closed down..

all we have now is Oakwood.. which is really good, fair play.
