I wish there was more RPGs out there that put more emphasis on character interaction and less on combat (but combat should not nessacerly be nonexistant, but should be discouraged with for example not giving any experience for combat). I know there are some RPGs like that, I think I have played most of them, but could you list those that you are aware of?

While not exactly a pure rpg, Vampire: the Masquerade - Bloodlines awards XP by how you acomplish things, rewarding the player for using methods other than combat to achive goals. Ofcourse, fighting is a very important part of the game, especially towards the end, but you are not rewarded XP for combat, only for solving problems.

Btw, we want another VtM! Can you hear us!?

Planescape Torment, and to a lesser extent adventure games like Monkey Island, Broken Sword and Grim Fandango.

As I said I think I played most of them and I have played all listed (I dont really see how Vampire: The Masquare - Bloodlines is not an rpg, seeing as its fps elements are very minor). :(

Vampire: Bloodlines = One of the best games ever.

Lazarus is releasing their final 1.2 version in about two weeks (estimated). It's a remake of ultima 5, one of the best RPG's out there. The game deals with moral choices and submerges you in a huge world filled with folks just going about their daily business. Try it.
