I was talking to one of my friends last night. We started talking about Half Life 2 and then he told me that he saw people doing crazy stuff to prove that they were true Half Life fans. He probably saw the picture of of the Half Life 2 Logo with the Mountain Dew cans. Well anyways, he told me that I wasn't a true Half Life 2 fan because I wasn't doing anything to prove it over the internet.
I was infuriated. How could this little $*%^@#% tell me that I don't love Half Life and it's sequel!? I didn't want my friend to prove me wrong, because I am one stubborn individual. I thought about dressing up like Gorden Freeman or something, but I didn't have a HEV suit lying around and I would have looked funny going to a store and purchasing a crowbar by itself.
So I did something different! I wrote a poem! I hope you all enjoy it. I apoligize to the admins in advance if there are any inappropriate words. Also, in the 7th stanza, I'm not refering to how anybody looks, I am refering to my behavior. :naughty:
The Tale of Two Lives that are Halved

Half Life was a wonderful game,
It had crude physics and bad sound,
But gamers cried out in acclaim,
Then Half Life became world renowned!
The game had some gore and even some class,
The story was good and it was not ass,
Fans called for a game that would surpass,
If Valve dissapoints their ass would be grass!
All hail the coming of the best sequel,
Half Life 2 will dominate our senses,
It will make the noobs and the pros equal,
The fanbois will ignore the expenses!
Soon I shall play as great Gorden Freeman,
I will find that pistol and bust a cap yo,
I shall ride buggies like a speed demon,
An ass kicking is what I will bestow!
I will meet Barney and aliens too,
I will come face to face with the headcrab,
A headcrab killing is long overdue,
I shall slay it with a swift crowbar jab!
I fear not the Combine and their allies,
I will wage a wild war and frag them all,
I will feed my rage with burgers and fries,
I will toss large objects and make them fall!
Alyx is indeed a good looking girl,
But Gabe Newell is simply a sexy beast,
That last line will make a few men hurl,
I hope I don't catch the eye of a priest!

Us gamers have waited enough,
Please pass me the shotgun my friend,
This next adventure will be rough!
