not new news at all. "new news" - that's funny. heard of Volkswagon? well, hitler commissioned the Beetle for the average german. Sure a lot of companies did business with Nazi germany, but it doesn't make those companies suddenly evil. Most of the world didn't discover the truth about concentration camps and the genocides until fairly late in the game.

Well IBM didnt really know what they where being used for.

And after a while the Nazi regime stopped using it because it was unreliable and too unweildy(because they had to put alot of random deaths into the system)

So its not really a dirty little secret because this has been known for a long time and IBM and the western world didn't really know what the germans used the machines for untill the world found out about concentration camps.

honestly you could write a book about all the dishonest deals any company has made, i doubt any company in the world has ever been successful with out any major illegal mishaps

I wonder how long the compensation will carry on...because i often wonder where this compensation goes. After all most jews who survived the holocaust are dead or won't be round for much longer anyway.

why do people hate microsoft?
they have a lot of really smart people, and the only reason i think most people resent them is b/c they use low and near-illegal marketing techniques, but what company doesn't?

if you truly hate microsoft, than you should really hate wal-mart, dell, ea-enterprises, sony, and pretty much every major label company, i'm tired of people bashing microsoft

When he dies hes gonna donate practically all his money to charity and leave some to his kids.

People by the time he has gone that will be probably over 50 billion.
 
I don't hate Microsoft exactly but they do give out a load of crap. Its just how big businesses go about things, Microsoft stand out because they are the biggest.

Oh and actually I really don't like Wal-Mart, even more so than Microsoft because Wal-Mart are well known for their poor treatment of staff and the way they keep prices low leaves something to be desired.

i wouldnt get too excited about this, im sure every company has at least one dirty little secret, this is probably one of the lesser ones.

id bet money that American Steel(or whatever it was called when they changed it) helped support the railroads and boxcars that they used to ship the jews around. and 50% of germanys pre-war oil supply probably came from america's Standard Oil Co.

No company that delt with the Nazis knew they would do what they did excepting DaimlerCrysler , VW & Siemens (that actually used the slave camps).
 
I dislike Microsoft because they've absolutely STAGNATED the competition. As soon as another company risis up to perhaps challange Microsoft in the future they make a take over bid, and there's little these small companies can do to stop them.

There's very few companies you can say have little or no competition in a field.
