Anyone here remember Speedball - made in the early 90's for the Atari ST and Amiga?
That was a classic game.
Sadly there is no game our like this today.
I have a great idea for a game, using the Gravity Gun and those ‘metal robotic balls‘, that cling on to the 'buggy', in the buggy part of the game.
Imagine a team game. Two goals either end (like Football/Soccer). A game where everyone (11 players on each team) has a gravity gun and the aim is to fire the ball into the opponents goal.
Imagine the fun you’d have, passing the ball among team mates, and scoring classic goals - Like Speedball, but with Half Life Graphics - and the way you can fire the ball.
In Half Life 2, it was great fun, running from a distance, then firing those metal robotic balls into open doors. It was like I was playing footy, trying to get the ball "off the crossbar and in". :naughty:
Wouldn’t this be so much fun for a game?
What is Valve's next project? Will it be as good as Half Life 2 I wonder?
Cheers.
