Please explain Err how you came to this theory.

Stop arguing you two, your avatars are clashing and giving me a headache!

This flaw can't be 'exploited' by any sort of virus, its just a way for them to put links in emails and on websites that seem viable but actually arent.

we're haxors just cause we prefer a more usable browser with more _useful_ features?

I dont think anyone's here to make the claim that FF is perfect.. its just a bajillion times better than everything else :p

Useful my ass.

Most of the features in FF and Op I bearly use in the first place.

you stick with your popups and ads then :p
What popups and ads...

*looks*

Haven't got any yet...thanks google toolbar. :D

I actually found IE more 'useable' than FFox (i.e. streaming media plays properly) but I use firefox anyway. I just prefer the way it doesnt let things run without my knowing about it :)

Still got you on tabbed browsing :)

And that regardless of your IE settings, it can still install things without you knowing.

Why have tab browsing when I won't even use it in the first place?

I never have more than 5 IE windows open anyways and I'm not that damn lazy to go to my taskbar and open them.

Also I have multiple anti-spyware and anti-adware programs...so no nothing will install without my knowing. ;) When IE settings get changed one of the programs will alert me.

It's so easy to spark a Firefox vs IE war these days.

Newsflash: They're both good browsers!

heh I thought I wouldn't use tabbed browsing too until I did.

Also there's the continual IE bug that allows a malicious page to open a completely hidden instance of it that uses 100% CPU, and that ain't been fixed yet.

And as useful as the anti spyware/ad apps are. IE can still be forced to download things it shouldn't. You'd have to basically disable everything and ruin your browsing of most sites. But even then, you never know.

Face it, FF is sooo much better ;) hehehe

FF can kiss my ass.

I don't even know why we are debating browsers in the first place.

It's called a task bar :p

And turn active scripting off
And it'll be impossible for things to install
(And if its not, id love to know how)

::Ignores the fact that im using FF right now::

FF doesnt seem to store my hl2.net password :-/
Know why?

IE works good, well it's decent, but why use a good browser when you can use a much better browser?

Tr0n, your argument basically is "FF sucks because I don't use the features"? 'Kay.

It's called a task bar :p

Come back to me when you can still browse efficiently when you have at least 5 Word documents open, 15 browser windows (the amount of tabs I sometimes have) and programs like Hammer, Steam and Winamp. ;)
Besides, you can't control the taskbar with middlemouse.

Why drive a Civic when you can drive a Ferrari? Because I don't need to go 180 miles per hour. Utilitarianism, man. IE gets me there.

With that attitude we'd all be still in a cave staring at the marvel of fire.
