Shouldnt a 6800nu be able to last me another 2 years? I dont need 1600x1200 or aa or af and i dont need 60fps...so shouldnt i be alright geting this and saving 100 bucks over the GT, cause i could probably find a nice deal on the 6800nu

nu?

i would go for a 6800, yeh, thats fine. im gonna wait for the game to come out, give it a go on my FX5700, then decide whether i want a change

nu = non ultra.

it should last you 2 years, sure. dont expect quality though, just playability.

I personally just went with a 6800GT for another $100, check out gameve.com, they just got the XFX cards in stock and they are good overcloackers! ! ! So just another $100 and you could have a 6800GT and OC to and ULTRA! ! ! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA......*cough*...EEEEVILLLLLLL :naughty:

the regular 6800 is perfect if you dont do very high resolutions. i mean at 1024x768, theres hardly a difference to the GT and ultras. if you like 1280x1024 with AF and AA + then id go for a 6800gt, otherwise no need to waste money.

i suck at OCing...and i dun even know how with a vid card :p

and yea i usually play 800x600 to 1028 x 768 cause i could care less

A 6800 is a good solid card.
I guess the only thing bad about it is in some games it performs at the level of a 9800XT.
The 6800 would last quite a while although a 6800GT would be a much better card. ;)

ye...but 400 bucks...jeez my cpu and mobo costed that much :(
