If any of the main NPC's were to die, how do u think they wuld die in HL2?

What drugs are you on - he was practically a no-body back in his Black Mesa days. The only thing he is famous for now is being Alyx's father.

If they gave him another fake leg it would be cool. You could bounce around the room like a kangaroo and do massive jumps to reach normally unreachable places

Anyway can you kill friendly NPCs? I noticed that in the E3 04 video that whenever you aimed near Father Gregori, your gun would face downward instead. (Or at least that's how it looked like.)

That was probably the player. As said in another thread if your gun lowered every time a citizen ran by the enemy you were shooting at might get a lucky shot.

In the Klieners lab vid alyx says "we should have listened to my father and done it his way." I take that as Eli has been killed. He has only got one leg after all. How can he run away!? I reckon that you find him headshot in his lab after you arange to meet him! "COMBINE AMBUSH!"

if Eli gets killed, then alyx would have said it emotionally rather than saying it in a plain style.

I find it hard to believe that Alyx dies at the end of this game.

Reason - who else do they make an expansion pack for. Valve have already stated that there will be expansion packs focusing on other characters in the game.

Alyx seems like the first choice for an expansion pack to me....

Thats no proof.

When Alyx dies in hl2, valve can make an expansion pack with alyx as the main char. Ever thought about a prequel?

I think Eli will be standing there talking to you, then all of a sudden SPLAT goes his brains all over Alyx and shes like *NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO* and in comes tons of Combine and Alyx takes off her bloodied clothes and starts to go kung fu on the Combine...or not

Even if we do know who the new charactors are wouldn't it be weird if Sheppard turned up in HL2, maybe at the end? Its too early to say. I just hope he isn't forgotten.

In the original half-life G-man doesn't have a dying animation, (yet they textured the inside of his breifcase :huh?: ) I think it will be the same in this one.
