I swear I heard him speak once... like whisper

One of a few options:

a) Gordon has a connection with me like no-one else, allowing him to escape the forth wall and speak directly to my mind
b) I was hearing things
c) I am Gordon, and thus when I spoke, I merely thought it was him speaking
d) I'm going crazy

i always wonder how he could manage to obtain a job and all that stuff without talking or expressing himself. there's also an easter egg where gordon's letters of acceptance in the black mesa facility showed that there was a phone conversation with him where he accepted the job offering.

i wonder if gordon ever spoked in that conversation..

maybe.. but the letter also mentions a "telephone conversation" between gordon and the black mesa offering him the job.
