If hl2 was hacked, would you download?

Say someone just "hacked" the gcf and made it so we could play hl2. Would you download it? I know I would, but I would also buy the game after it came out (even though I already bought it over steam) What are your thoughts?

It wouldnt be playable now even if you did hack it. Valve will keep the vital pieces of code back until just before release.
