Well, Quake 4 was very poor, and its plot was also pretty bad - so I'm not sure how you'd follow on something as lame as that. Depending on the developer, and depending on where they take it, I'd possibly buy it.

After replaying Quake 4 a few months ago, I changed my mind about this game. It's pretty cool and I would love to play an official expansion pack.
But I don't think an expansion will ever be made, gamers' comments and opinions aren't too positive, so I'm afraid it's the death of Quake series

Q4 wasn't the second coming, but it wasn't a bad game IMO. I had fun with it. I'd buy the expansion a year or two after its release for £3 somewhere and have fun with it too.

Q4 did leave it all pathetically open for such a quasi-sequel anyway.
