If you had to give up one: the Internet, or playing games, which would it be?

So, out of those two which would you be most willing to give up. I know it's probably very, very hard for some of you, but think. For me, I'd have to say the Internet. Tough choice though, really. Or would you be one of the select few who could give up both easily, with no problem?

At the moment, it would be games I think, since you can play games online (flash ones and such)

I...I don't know! I live on the internet, so I can't give that up...but then, gaming...I guess if I were faced with the ultimatum, I'd give up games. But what a hollow existence that would be, eh?

I can't decide. I go on the internet to do a lot of things; however, games provide so much more entertainment that I can't get from the internet but I wouldn't know about without the internet.

hm i mainly use the net 4 playing other people. Once upon a time kids, you couldent play multiplayer, it was only you and an AI that mainly liked to **** walls. I cant imagine going back to single player only, that would be a loss beyond description.

I'd give up the internet before giving up playing games! For a start I feel much more fulfilled after completing a good single player game than I do after wasting a few hours on the internet.

i've only had the internet for, say, 5 months, i've been playing computer games for 7 years. Not as hard of a call for me. I survived all those years without the internet, but without games. That would be....horrendous. Course I would rather not give up either, but if i had to i'd go into the middle of a big forest with a tent and live off wild animals that I would cook over a camp fire. Praise be to the extremes. Erm, nevermind.....

I think you should count online gaming as just plain gaming in this poll and things such as the web, msn and other things like that as the internet. If so I would still vote to get rid of games

Overall though, this isn't really a fair poll - everyone who would vote to drop 'net access is busy playing games. That said - I'd probably drop games, though it'd be a close call. It depends - were you saying *all* 'net access, or just game-related 'net access? Main reason I went with games is because I use the 'net a lot for school and apartment hunting and what not.
