If you have a beefy graphics card you ca get soft shadowing which puts it waaaaaaay above doom 3's head.

Definitely a good game. Engine seems superior to Doom 3, and certainly more fun. 9/10

It does NOT have soft shadows - very hard stencil shadows, with a lot of glitches. I liked doom 3's lighting/shadowing better than Riddick - but Riddick's gameplay puts D3's gameplay to shame.

yeah that game looks all right, i'm just NOT playing as vin diesel in a game. would rather die/have HL2 taken from me/something equally horrible.

My friend has the game, and I played it. It's dark, claustrophobic ambience owns Doom 3 in the ass. Hard. With a giant fruit.

It looks alot like Doom 3, but it's slightly more realistic looks.
