Adn each of those has several different sub-methods, and which you use depends on which version of shens dollars you're attempting to pay with. My first answer would be to kill them both, but as you're asking for "morally"...
The mother. Because she has already lived, and the baby has not. Although, the baby is also pure, being as it is newborn, and will grow to sin, but it also has the chance to redeem itself. Anyways, the mother would probably (hopefully) rather the baby live than her.
