Anyone who is thinking about clicking on those links... don't. They're a complete waste of time. You might get a laugh out of it, but even that's not guaranteed...

And if DNF dies in the ass, 3DRealms dies in the ass. They know it, so they WILL bring it out eventually, and I'm sure it will be at least half decent. They're under a lot of pressure to deliver now. I don't even think about the game anymore, but I'll sure play it when it comes out. Hell, I still dust off Duke3D every now and again.

Well, I've accomplished something in the past 8 years.

I started/graduated highschool, I started/graduated college, finished 3 different student films, went through 3 long-term relationships, held 4 different jobs (including selling fireworks on an Indian Reservation), volunteerd for 2 different presidential campaigns, nearly finished writing a collection of short stories, learned how to ride a motorcycle, climbed ten 14-thousand foot (8000 meter) peaks in Colorado (ropes, ice axes, crampons), smuggled drugs across the Border in Juarez Mexico, went heli-skiing in Whistler Canada, won 500 dollars at a Casino in Brisbane Australia (I studied abroad in Rockhampton Burnzie ), quit smoking, played more videogames then I care to admit, and broke my jaw in a bar fight backing up a buddy.

That's by no means a complete list of my travels/adventures during the past 8 years, but it gives you a picture of what I've been doing. I don't work in the games industry, so no I haven't contributed to a gaming project in the last 8 years. It just seems like 3D Realms did absolutely NOTHING for like 4 years. They're still not even CLOSE to releasing DNF. It just sorta seems pathetic to me.

calling there work pathetic is somthing else though, they work hard, they made some bad decisions, but they're well on track now with all the people they need to finish the project in a year or so.

they're just making sure that what they release is there best work, and they're allowed to do so, they are totaly self funded and have no publisher to answer to, so when it does come out, they would want it to be good, as they wont get any money back if they dont.

they dont have to release anything, they dont owe it to anyone to do so, so no one has a right to complain, they do it for gamers and there own personal intrest.

and the game has only been delayed once, just like half-life 2.
