At least they apologised when they couldn't find the page for me.

even gamespy is keeping up for that matter.

www.gamespy.com

and I'm also pretty sure that gamespot is to, they just need to update the news faster.

important to note that gabe said "if we continue at this rate"
which means they could go slower or faster, more things could pop up.
16 days give or take.

erm, yay for sites keeping up

Good point. If valve take it easy - it can be 20 days. If valve becomes extra efficent - it can be 13 days. So we really shouldn't completely rely on this 16 day thing, it's just a rough estimate.

Indeed.
Even if they work super hard, there might be a bug that takes a couple days to get resolved. Who knows?
And rate's are like an average. Like if you run 6 miles in run 60 minutes, you may have run a mile in 5 minutes and another in 15.

AND if the game comes with cs:s, which is starting its beta in early August, and would come with hl2 completed, I wouldn't expect any shipping till late august, just to be safe.

Its a extimate but 16 days is a good sign no less then 13 no more then 25. You know.

I can almost guarantee you that it will be longer than 16 days. 16 days is if everything goes absolutely perfect. It will probably be 1-2 weeks longer than that. So more like 23-30 days IMHO.

Gamespy and IGN are partners now, so I imagine they share the news between themselves.

I know it's yesterdays news, but why is a post on HL2 bug testing in general gaming? Seems odd.

I decided to put it here, since it's more about IGN's competence than Half-Life 2.
