Grudge 2 is almost as good..

The curse 1 is pretty naff,

The Curse 2 is actually pretty creepy, especially toward the end, great final scene..

Well of course.. its a US remake of a classic horror, you didn't honestly think Hollywood would get it right did you? Doesn't matter who directed and who produced and who starred in it. Got dumbed down for western viewers, heavy music thrown in, to "appeal" to more people.. ruined the atmosphere of the entire movie. Scares put in for the sake of putting them in.

I hate hollywood so much these days

..... well apart from the times they pay me, then they ain't so bad :E
