Well, I couldn't decide on which forum to put this, so I decided it would be best to put it in here...
I have been out-of-town (Chesapeake, VA, to be exact) since mid-June and I just got back (southern New Jersey) yesterday. Ever since the summer of '02, I have been spending my summers down there with my gearhead-Godfather, John.
It was very nice down there, by the way. Virginia Beach, the weekly car shows, the museums, the drag-races, etc. John, who is 67 years old now and retired, has a total of four cars: '68 Oldsmobile, '83 Trans Am, '95 Impala SS, and an '82 Pontiac T1000...and I wouldn't be surprised if the fifth was bought before the end of the year. He has his eye on the magnificent 2005 Chevrolet Corvette (Oh, yes!). So, the reason I couldn't post any messages, check my email, or continue that Versus/Battle thing I had going on a couple months back is because, simply, I did not have internet access at his home-he is internet-illiterate and has no idea what to do with a computer. Hell, he doesn't even know how to turn one on for Christ's sake! It's 2004! Everyone should be able and willing to use a computer. But he does have a phone line in his house nor does he have cable, so the options for internet access were limited. But he does have DirecTV and you can get internet by satellite. It's called DirecWAY, but it is very, very expensive.
Well, anyway, enough of me and my vacation. How's everyone doing here? Any new info on the release of Half-Life 2? Anything new here at halflife2.net?I heard that Half-Life 2 will now be released in Autumn. Wow! :O Talk about procrastination. But I guess the longer we wait, the better the game will be; so I can't complain. And I can't believe Doom 3 has already been released...but that's a whole 'nother story.
I've got a lot to say, but I don't have the time and it would take a lot of typing...so.....

And, yes, I will be continuing the Versus Battles. It will be back shortly by popular demand!
