I'm a strong supporter of evolution. This, however, conflicts with my support of socialized Healthcare. I mean on one hand I want to help everyone get better, but on the other I'd love for evolution to help us with this whole overpopulatoin thingy.

Just say to yourself it doesn't mean a damn thing and just don't care about all that political healthcare/evolution mumbo-jumbo.

...and bam!Your problem is solved.

Calm down, take a nice glass of milk and have a good day.

Eventually, evolution and overpopulation will come to a head. Stuff like that is just what happens when too many people populate one area. Survival of the fittest. It can be avoided if we develop medicine further than it is. However, there will always be a new strain of virus. Viruses tend to evolve as well.

Nanotechnology could end dieases. New era for humanity on that day, I tell yah.

...or nano-tech could be the destruction of us.

Who knows?

We're not that overpopulated.

Well I should say, Earth isn't. There are cities and places that have overcrowding, but the vast majority of Earth is not overpopulated (and talking arable land, too, not just Antarctica or something)

Socialized healthcare is a no no in my book.

Wow, where to start? First, to answer your question of "I'm Confused?" Yes, you are confused. I like that you're a strong supporter of evolution - I don't see many of those around anymore. Socialized healthcare only gives human beings one of their essential needs - their physical well-being. I believe the right to healthcare is as important as one's right to be free. By not making healthcare socialized, you won't really be helping with the "overpopulation thingy." People will do what is required to afford it - you'll just be making the poor poorer and some will die as resultm, but not a significant number.

Exactly...not unless 200 hundreds years from now (if humans are still living) we create a cow with wings! :O

We'd call it a Moobok or a Chow!
