Well, as of today I am filling out the required forms to break a record. Longest time without sleep.

My blog said:
I have decided to actually go for the record and contact the Guiness World Book of records, but before I do, I have to contact Valve, an internet cafe and some Softdrink producer and Pizza hut for sponsorship. These sponsors will provide Food, Drink, Computers and Games to play on them respectivly. *smiles* I've had a few practice runs and they were moderate successes, but here is a basic list of what will happen

__Sleep as long as I can, start timer__
__Sit down and drink non-caffine based substance used to give basic sugar boosts (energy)__
__Get to a computer and boot up steam, these computers will have good performance and will have HL2, CSS, DOD:S and GM installed, with the ability to ready the other games at will__
__-__Last a few days like this, eating pizza and drinking softy__-__
__Get bored and play some other games until my interest rekindles__
__-__<<Period in time where I go crazy and can't remember a damn thing while I try to kill GWBR TV show host and then they shut me in a plexiglass cube (maybe not)>>__-__
Finish record and appear in GWBR

As for the health things, medics will be there

I've started by sending emails and asking people. I've posted a thread on Steam Forums (Here and I am writing to Schweps or Coke and Pizza hut, all that will be left is the Internet Cafe.

Meh, comments and thoughts?

I swear the 6char limit is gone.

I bet there are experienced sleep self-deprivationists out there, though, TRM.

Is sitting at a computer playing video games the most efficient stay-awake method? Doesn't seem like it. But then again, using almost no energy while remaining entertained or even adrenalin filled might be a good combo.

Good luck to ya!

Collective, bitches.

You can do eet! Hell, I'll come to your house and make sure you stay awake. Know what I mean?

Ngoc currently lives on his 5ha farm at the foot of a mountain busy with farming and taking care of pigs and chickens all day. His six children live at their house in Que Trung.

Holy crap.

BTW, I don't believe that article.

He's not the first. I've heard of an old man in russia that hasn't slept in 50 years.

And I knew a kid that only slept twice a week, suffered from severe insomnia.

You're going to **** up your hormones if you don't sleep. You'll be depressed for a month afterwards.

If that doesn't kill you, please try to beat the longest-WOW-session-without-perishing record.

Truth of the day - When you die doing this, or go insane, I will chuckle a bit

6char is gone, but 1char is not. Try quoting someone and posting it, you can't do it. You need to say SOMETHING.

I think even a "." will do, as long as there's something.

EDIT: I see...

Ffs, I went 15 days. Beat me and I give you a prize.

Smoke actually looks like his avatar, he is the real life machinist.

You die from lack of sleep. You sure guinness book of records will let you nearly kill yourself (or kill yourself) for the sake of a record?

If they let you try, then I wish you all the best. I hope you do a time-lapse recording of yourself for the 11+ days it'll take to break the current record.

Randy Gardner holds the Guinness world record for the longest period of time a human being has gone without sleep. In 1964, as a 17-year-old high school student, Gardner stayed awake for 264 hours (11 days) with the help of friends, TV reporters, and games of pinball. On his final day without sleep, Gardner presided over a press conference where he spoke without slurring or stumbling his words and in general appeared to be in excellent health. "I wanted to prove that bad things didn't happen if you went without sleep," said Gardner. "I thought, 'I can break that (Peter Tripp's 1959) record and I don't think it would be a negative experience.'" Sleep experts now believe that such sleep deprivation stunts are dangerous (Veasey et al., 2002).
