Im gonna buy WoW tomarrow advice...

well I decided to buy it since im the only one in my whole school that doesnt have it.
I have a few questions
1.when I buy it and intstall it, can play right away with this free one month or do I have to enter a payment method first cuz I wanna buy those Pre Paid cards but im gonna have to wait till next moth
cuz all Money that I have right now will go down the drain due to WoW tomarrow
2.who here has WoW?
3.Question to all Germans!! Wo gibst diese Pre Paid Karten?

1: You still need a creditcard, however, Blizzard has said they'd resolve this, until then they said you can bypass it by filling in your country as Germany, and selecting LSV as your payment method. Then you can fill nonsense in at Billing Details. It worked for me.
Later this month, Blizzard will add a way to change your payment methods so you can change from creditcard to prepaid.

wont I get problems when I just put BS on the form?
 
I tend to agree with the warrior remark, but they're not as bad as people make them out to be honestly. I have a level 41 warrior and I don't mind playing on it. I have a level 24 Rouge now though...much better choice I think.
 
I only played WoW in the stress test and got to lvl 22, my friend made it into the closed beta because he was the 2nd highest lvl warrior on our server. He played his warrior to lvl 60 and said it was fun but there was no endgame. Have they changed this? Are there more things to upgrade now?
 
There's not going to be that many Warrior fixes; Blizzard pretty much told everyone they're working as intended. Hopefully Warriors will get a rage fix so they use their abilities. It sucks not having enough rage to pull off any abilities.

Mages are pretty fun, its just the downtime that gets annoying.

Endgame usually consists of raiding or equipment.

That's why my friend went back to EQ because of their Alternate Advancement system which I must say is very cool. It's practically impossible to max all those skills. Their sorta like WoW's talents but they're much harder to earn and there's tons and tons of things to put points in.
 
im gonna take a one hour nap and then go get it when I come back u guys have to help me with the payment thing
 
You need a credit card (or german LSV, which i think is just a credit card for over 16s or something) when you sign up for the game, NO EXCEPTIONS. On march the 15th the pre-paid game cards will be released all over europe. So either use a credit card, or wait till March. Either way your card won't be charged for your first free month.

As soon as I get back to brighton I'm gonna carry on with my undead Rogue. He's level 16 :) I'm so proud...
 
I want to buy it too but I'm in the States so there aren't any anywhere. So I'm going to buy it on-line. I would buy it from Amazon.com but they don't tell you they don't have it until after you pay for it, so does anyone know a trusty site I can buy it from? I perfer it to has fast shipping too, I want it by Friday.

Don't order MMORPG's from Amazon, they sent me a used copy of Star Wars Galaxies.

Yes, plus when you order it they'll say it's in stock but a day later tell you it's not and say you have to wait like 6 years. That's why I'm looking around on different sites lol.

Most people know how to seperate work from play. Obviously your friends doesn't :). I get to play all I want without hindering what's more important in my life.
 
Yeah, one guy doesn't have a job and gradutated from commuinity college, so now he only leaves the house to eat fast food a couple times a day. I'm surprised he isn't 400 pounds yet. I am too scared to start. Plus I've never played an RPG and would like to keep it that way. The only thing that's even come close is Pokémon on gameboy, and that was, like, once. I need instant gratification.

No.

Pick the option to pay by German debit-card. Fill in your own bank-account number (that way you show you're sincere by not using a fake cc-number), and change to timecards as soon as they arrive.
 
my stupid mum doesnt wanna give her bank account Number why cant I just etnetr something and then change it when those cards come out?
 
Don't buy it. Terribly addicting. I have a 58 paladin. Can't stop playing WoW...

My advice dont buy it.
I did and my boss and GF want to know why i have grey patches under my eyes.
I´m on no sleep...HL2? yes i seem to remeber something about it...
