Ok, to cut a long story short I have a school field trip to Beijing in late November, and during the same time period my parents want to take me and my siblings to Europe (Italy, germany, belgium, austria, some others) for a holiday. So since these two clash I asked my mom to delay the Europe trip by a few weeks into December instead, but she insists no because she says Europe is too cold in December. So now I have to jettison the china trip *JUST* because my mom thinks its too cold in December. And it's not even winter yet.

Go sking while in Europe, I've always wanted to go sking. Seriously Europe! Just wear warm clothes. But where are you from, it makes a difference on your perception of coldness. My mam had an American from Florida and a guy from north Canada come in to work(I don't know why). The American found it freezing, the Canadian roasting.

well considering that the low recently in florida has been 75 i think its understandable...and the freakin high is like 98...im startin to hate florida just a bit...

75 Fahrenheit = 23 Celsius

98 Fahrenheit = 36 Celsius

Beijing's going to be colder tbh.

Pollution's getting better than usual in Beijing lately, although maybe it'll be bad again in the winter.

Try to go to both, using the lines "But I'll never get the chance again!" or "It'll be so educational for me!"

Update: My mom's agreed to delay the Europe trip to December 4, so I can go for the field trip I hope my application is approved though, there's only 15 places available for the field trip but I think I stand a good chance.

Well,when it comes to Germany,the weather is pretty shite in both months.
No Snow whatsoever but freezing cold and it rains aswell from time to time.
If i were your mom(lol),i would've delayed the entire trip till spring.
At least you'll be able maintain a happy mood then.
Trust me, the saggy falls and winters can be quite depressing,especially in the urban areas.
