If I do have a kid the chances are her mother will believe in a god\religion. I'd raise my kid under that religion. If my kid doesn't want to believe, well its his choice. Of course I would never let the kid go to an insane camp like this nor would the mother.

Fortunately most of those kids will be exposed to modern education. In backward countries the youth are rarely exposed to such education and i assume that kind of indoctrination has more of a lasting effect. Though the concept of modern education may change if the evangelicals continue to gain power. Science removed from the syllabus! Generations raised with terrible educations, science and technology industries would collapse, America would collapse and become a 3rd world country where fundamentalism would reign supreme once more.

All I wanted to say is that they should discover things themselves, be independent, have a mind of their own, and in the meantime have respect for different people...even if they don't respect you ( I know that's hard, I'm still learning)
