I'm so pissed off about needing a cell phone

Couldn't live without my own phone...take it everywhere pretty much. Always using it to call / text friends & family as well as using maps / sat nav while driving & emails for this site. Use it for uni work (moving documents / viewing pdfs) and proper work.

If you've never owned a phone you'll never understand the use of having one, since everyone who knows you knows you don't have a phone and can't get in touch with you. If you don't have other people's numbers either then it probably feels pointless.

I remember when texting was fairly new and people ridiculed it "JUST CALL THEM UP AND HAVE A CHAT". I guess they were right since it never took off.

Summary: I hate luddites.

Ditto Glenn, jesus, before I had an iPhone, I thought smartphones were pointless - now I rely on it so so so heavily..

Emails, maps, even finding resturants - amazing.

I pay around $90 a month after fees and taxes. Never thought I would pay that much for a phone but I don't really regret it.
